It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Issue 85 of the newly formatted Hearsay for 2020. The new look site has been streamlined to offer members a contemporary design and ease of navigation through the pages. This has been achieved by several months of careful planning, spearheaded by Chief Executive, Kelsey Rissman and her team at the Association, together with the new Hearsay Editor, Andrew Skoien.
The provision of content by members has been vital in presenting you with a comprehensive Issue and I take this opportunity to thank you all for your contribution and encourage you to continue sending articles to the Hearsay team. Under the 2020/21 CPD rules all approved articles will earn members 1 CPD.
A further enhancement to the existing site is the ability to access relevant content on Hearsay via desktop and mobile devices. Importantly, historical Hearsay Issues can also be found on this new platform which provides greater search ability when researching prior articles. We are very proud of the final design and we hope that you will agree that the new platform provides a greater user experience and an easier read.
Finally, on behalf of the Council I would like to acknowledge those members who have previously held the role of Hearsay editor, Adrian Duffy QC, Geoff Diehm QC, Martin Burns S.C (as then was). Your tireless work has contributed significantly to the journal over time which is very much appreciate by the profession.
I hope you enjoy this new look Hearsay and I look forward to reading your future contributions and receiving your feedback.
