Sofronoff KC’s Report and Drumgold SC’s Resignation

The Board of Inquiry undertaken by, and report of, the Honourable Walter Sofronoff KC into the criminal justice system of the Australian Capital Territory have been the subject of extensive media coverage.  Subsequent to the release of the report, Shane Drumgold SC – the Director of Public Prosecutions of the Australian Capital Territory – made a media statement, in which he resigned his appointment.  For the benefit of Hearsay readers, links to each of the report and media statement respectively are below.
