‘Tis the Season for the Crown Law Choir

Now in its 8th year, the Crown Law Choir has become one of the highlights of the working festive season in the Brisbane CBD. Details of the choir’s upcoming performances are listed below.

With over four months practice under their belt, 43 choristers will be singing favourites such as “Once in Royal David City”, “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” and the spine-tingling “African Noel”.

Choir Director, Lydia Daly, said practises have been intense, but all the hard work over the past few months will soon be worth it.

“There is something extremely satisfying about community singing. The members of the Choir are looking forward to putting their legal skills aside and bringing cheer to colleagues and the public in what can often be a difficult time of year.”

The Choir will be raising funds for the RSPCA through donations at performances.

The Choir will be performing on the following days and locations:

Monday 6 December — State Law Building 8.30 — 9.00am

Tuesday 7 December — State Law Building 8.30 — 9.00am

Wednesday 8 December — Executive Building 8.30 — 9.00am

Thursday 9 December — State Law Building 8.30 — 9.00am

Friday 10 December — Federal Court 8.30 — 9.00am

Monday 13 December — Executive Building 8.30 — 9.00am

Tuesday 14 December — Magistrates 8.30 — 9.00am

Wednesday 15 December — Supreme Court Christmas Greetings Ceremony 9.00 — 10.30am
