Media in the Law Seminar

The Association held a very successful seminar on Media in the Law on 16 September 2014.

Guest speaker, Michael Chalos, a partner at K&L Gates, LLP in New York, delivered a very informative, entertaining and thought provoking talk outlining his experiences represented clients involved in high-profile civil and criminal environmental litigation, including Captain Joe Hazelwood, the master of the Exxon Valdez.

Commentary on Michael’s paper was delivered by Fleming QC, who who was able to bring a local perspective to the issue.
